Lines 98 is a classic puzzle game from the 1990s that has stood the test of time. Originally created by a Russian programmer, it gained widespread popularity at the end of the '90s when it was integrated into the PC operating system known as Windows 98. This is how it acquired its name, Lines 98.

In this timeless puzzle game, the rules are delightfully simple. The game board measures 9x9 and is filled with color balls in various hues: Red, Green, Blue, Yellow, Dark Red, and Pink. Some balls are larger than others, and only three small color balls are visible on the screen at any given time. Players can move the large ball by dragging or touching it, and then selecting its destination. The objective is to bring together balls of the same color. When five color balls of the same kind are arranged in a line (horizontally, vertically, or diagonally), they explode and vanish from the board, earning you points in the process.

What sets this classic game apart is its lack of a time limit. Players can leisurely touch and strategize their way to a higher score, making it an ideal choice for relaxation. It comes as no surprise that countless individuals have enjoyed playing Lines 98 during their free time over the years.
